The dream of having an exhibition, recreation and hotel complex is now closer than ever as Mitch Winnicki of Huntington and Worth, has now completed graphics for the exterior and interior of the Discovery Centre.
The concept of building a Discovery Centre was identified by Vulcan area questionnaires and stakeholders interviews in March 2011, conceptualized in the Community Brand Action Plan later that year with more specific input collected at the April 1, 2015, Action Plan Focus Day.
The Discovery Centre vision is to create a space with potential ideas which may include: convertible exhibition area for trade shows or recreation, art exhibits, incubation labs, meeting rooms, stand alone theatre for live performance, presentations or movies, library, media centre and attached hotel.
The Discovery Centre will endeavor to deliver the brand promise of expanding on our Star Trek fame to pursue technology excellence in
Agriculture, Health Care, Education, the Environment and the Home.
The Discovery Centre will also enhance the attractiveness and recreation capacity of our remarkable community.
The Development Committee of the Vulcan Brand Innovation team will soon begin the process of consulting and formulating the next steps toward making the Discovery Centre a reality.
